Woohoo!!! Coming tomorrow evening for the first time!! Can’t wait!... just looking at the menu makes my tummy do nice things, similar to the first time I met my girlfriend (also from Cork)

Got the cookbook, will soon have eaten at the restaurant, then all I’ll need is the t-shirt!

I am avidly looking forward to getting a copy of Paradiso Seasons, having practically worn out my copy of the Café Paradiso Cookbook. Unfortunately Amazon UK seem to be having problems getting it – 1st order was cancelled by them, second has just been delayed after 8 weeks wait. sigh

I haven’t been converted to a veggie but I still love to go to Cafe Paradiso and enjoy something different, I feel that the superb service I have experienced each time there should also be acknowleged.

Husband: Tell me again why we are going to Cork?
Me: Because it is European City of Culture 2005 and I like to be ahead of the crowds!
Husband: What no ulterior motive then?
Me: Well there might be a restaurant I want to go to …..
Result – two delicious meals at CP enjoyed by me (shocked delight – what joy, I can eat every choice on the menu?) and husband (well it certainly makes a change). We shall be back!

Dennis,

You’re a genius!

to Mr. Ritter: You want recipes? Buy the book. Dennis Cotter’s cookbook is warm, readable, and very helpful to someone aspiring to get close to the real thing. (though for an American, “gubeen cheese” means nothing).
I took the opposite approach; I visited the restaurant and couldn’t leave without the recipes! I suggest you do the same.

My current Uni project is to create a business of my own. I have chosen to open a vegetarian reataurant in one of Scotlands cities. Wondered if you could chuck some facts and figures my way such as the various costs of starting the business. Its all make believe so they dont need to be entireley accurate. Cheers it would be of great help and i chose your restaurant over anyone elses through the reputation you have, even in Scotland.

We want recipes! Just one, to see what all this fuss is about. Then maybe we’ll go there.
