FRIDAY LUNCH IS BACK! · 12 March 2009

Two months into our new opening hours, I’m happy to say that the 5.30pm start for dinner is proving to be a success, with a very positive response to our pre-theatre menus. I’m even happier to be able to say that we are about to re-open our Friday lunch service.

Due to popular demand is a cliche, but in this case a true one, and we’re grateful to all of you who let us know how much it was missed – and in such a positive way when you could have been giving us a hard time for closing it in the first place!

The other factor in the decision came from that sense of positivity that comes with the first warm rays of Spring sunshine, and the sprouting broccoli that came with it. Ultan Walsh of Gortnanain Farm is predicting a wonderful year for vegetables – and a hot summer to boot – and one more busy lunch service will help to use up all that amazing produce he coaxes out of the ground.

So from next week, beginning Tuesday 17th March, our opening hours will be as follows –

Lunch: Friday and Saturday, 12 – 3pm

Dinner: Tuesday to Saturday, 5.30 – 10pm
